However, there is concern that U.S. far-right groups may attempt to influence and obstruct this progress, through their partnership with the Inter-Religious Council of Sierrra Leone (IRCSL), as they have done in other countries. Advocates emphasize the importance of safeguarding Sierra Leone’s sovereignty and ensuring that external conservative agendas do not derail the nation’s efforts to enhance women’s health and autonomy.
