The exhibition Siolence- Violence as Timeless Unart, designed by photographer Elfie Semotan and realized by BBDO Vienna for Soroptimist International, shares the stories of seven women who survived violence and broke their silence. Through recordings and podcasts, they reveal the emotional and psychological toll of abuse, highlighting how shame, fear, and societal silence allowed their suffering to continue for years. The exhibition, now in New York, focuses on the invisible effects of violence rather than physical injuries, emphasizing the urgent need for public awareness and accessible help. The project aims to encourage victims to speak out and seek support, reinforcing the idea that breaking the silence is the first step toward change.
