Attacks on migrants, women, and LGBTIQ+ rights are an international phenomenon, and so we mobilize with our global networks of partners to respond.
LGBTIQ+ rights are human rights, yet violence and discrimination against LGBTIQ+ communities continue to increase around the world. The Advocates for Human Rights is a lifesaving ally to LGBTIQ+ migrants fleeing persecution to find safety in the U.S. We partner with LGBTIQ+ human rights defenders to promote equality in their countries. We empower LGBTIQ+ individuals to give voice to their lived experiences by participating in global advocacy at the United Nations.
The defense of human rights requires each of us to stay engaged, informed, connected, and, to the extent that we can, contribute critical funds.
