From December 2-5, 2024, the Association for Women's Rights in Development (Awid) held a forum in Thailand that brought feminists together from across the globe to confront the challenges posed by rising far-right movements, oppressive regimes, and systemic inequalities. Despite these adversities, they shared stories of resilience, solidarity, and hope, envisioning a more equitable world. Activists discussed strategies to advance gender justice, emphasizing the importance of intersectionality, collective action, and daring to dream of transformative change even in hostile political climates. The forum underscored the power of global feminist solidarity in resisting oppression and fostering hope for a better future.
