The European Union's Agency for Fundamental Rights has issued a new report on forced marriage in European Union (EU) member states. The report, “Addressing forced marriage in the EU: legal provisions and promising practices,” finds that despite the criminalization of forced marriage in many EU member countries, more action is needed to prevent forced marriage and protect victims.
