A coalition of 175 organizations, including the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC), denounce President Trump's executive order that discriminates against transgender, nonbinary, and intersex individuals as "cruel and lawless." These organizations are comprised of advocates for women’s rights and gender justice, argue that the executive order severely undermines the rights of these communities and harms all women, including transgender women and girls. These organizations voice their dissent to actions of the Trump administration for rolling back on abortion rights, weakening anti-discrimination protections, and appointing men with records of abuse and harassment into official posts.
