The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) has provided a new resource on its website that provides information relating to the implementation of Title IX, the US federal law that prohibits sex-based discrimination in schools.
The NSVRC’s resources pertain especially to sexual violence against female college students; the website provides a link to a letter on sexual violence statistics and effects published in April, 2011 by the United States Department of Education.
The list of resources also includes a link to a White House fact sheet entitled “Know Your Rights” that specifies what colleges and universities must do to comply with Title IX, and gives instructions on how to file a Title IX complaint.
