The National Resource Center on Domestic Violence has published a new, comprehensive guide on VAWnet that is designed to help prevent teen dating violence (TDV). Resources are organized to provide general information on TDV, as well as specific information for teens, health care professionals, educators, domestic violence service providers and others. The report also includes information on laws and legislation related to TDV, as well as state and national programs addressing TDV. According to a 2011 report prepared by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), “Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey,” one in five women in the US has experienced intimate partner violence between the ages of 11 and 17.
