New Resource: Council of Europe Releases Multi-Agency Training Manual to Combat Domestic Violence

The Council of Europe (COE), together with the Women Against Violence Europe (WAVE) network, has developed a new manual to help trainers and service professionals “explore the benefits and key principles of multi-agency work” for supporting victims of domestic violence. The manual, titled “Effective Multi-agency Co-operation for Preventing and Combating Domestic Violence”, also serves as a comprehensive background resource for practitioners on best practices and current research. The manual draws from the human rights principles and standards contained in the COE Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (Istanbul Convention).
