This section provides a collection of materials cited in the Sexual Harassment Law and Policy section. This list includes legally-binding documents, such as treaties and protocols, as well as politically influential documents, such as declarations and resolutions. Legal materials relevant to the international, regional and domestic legal frameworks are available through the navigation bar to the right. General legal resources and policy guides on women's human rights which include discussions of sexual harassment law and policy are listed below.

• The report Women 2000: An Investigation into the Status of Women's Rights in the former Soviet Union and Central and South-Eastern Europe, published by the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights in November 2000, includes information about a range of women's rights issues for thirty countries in the CEE and FSU region, and information on legal provisions on sexual harassment, where available. Sections of this report are available online by country. To retrieve the section that addresses women's rights in a particular country, highlight the name of that country in the "Countries" pull-down menu, highlight "Women's Rights" in the "Topics" pull-down menu, and enter "2000" in the field for date of publication. 
• The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe hosts a website with information about legislation on gender equality. The Legislationonline site for violence against women includes links to the United Nations treaties, the Council of Europe convention and legislation and the laws from 53 countries of the CEE/FSU region, Europe and North America relating to sexual harassment. 
• The International Labor Organization website includes a database on equal employment opportunities for women and men entitled "e.quality @ work" available here. The database provides a country by country summary of equal employment opportunity legislation, national legal frameworks, national statistics, and government programs. 
• Coalition Karat, a Regional Coalition of Women's NGOs in the CEE/FSU Region is conducting a country by country gender assessment of the impact of EU Accession on Women and the Labour Market in Central and Eastern Europe which includes an assessment of law and policy in the countries which are candidates for accession to the European Union. 
• The Program on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men in the European Accession Program is a joint initiative of the Open Society Foundation Romania and the Network Women's Program of the Open Society Insitute. It monitors the legislative changes and enforcement mechanisms which candidates for accession to the European Union are putting into place in compliance with legal standards established by the European Union in the area of equal treatment of men and women in employment. The Program's website includes general reports and country specific reports in connection with these monitoring efforts. 
• The 2003 Report of the Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women, Integration of the Human Rights of Women and the Gender Perspective: Violence Against Women, E/CN.4/2003/75 (Jan. 2003) (PDF and Word, 24 pages) provides general information on sexual harassment law and policy around the world. International, Regional and National Developments in the Area of Violence Against Women 1994-2003, Addendum 1 to the 2003 Report of the Special Rapporteur on Violence against Women, E/CN.4/2003/75/Add.1 (Feb. 2003)(PDF and Word, 397 pages) provides information on the sexual harassment laws passed by national governments around the world.
