The International Medical Corps (IMC) and ABAAD are launching a Men Center to include men and boys in the effort to combat violence against women. The center aims to make sure men are part of the solution, and not just part of the problem. The center represents a new approach to reassessing gender stereotypes in Lebanon and the Middle East.

The center aims at changing behaviors that normalize violence—a component essential to ending violence against women and girls. The IMC and ABAAD also launched a nation-wide campaign to promote the Men Center with the support of the Arab Foundation for Freedoms and Equality. The slogan of the campaign is “Mest’edeen Nesma’ Haki,” which translates, “We are willing – and here - to listen.”
