UNFPA and UNIFEM's, “Gender Responsive Budgeting in Practice: A Training Manual” is now available online. The manual is meant to build a greater understanding of gender responsive budgeting in order to promote ‘gender equity, accountability to women’s rights and efficiency and transparency in budget policies and processes.’ The manual focuses on the applicability of gender responsive budgeting to reproductive rights and sector-specific examples such as HIV/AIDS and violence against women. The manual comes in English, French and Spanish.
