The Group of Experts on Action against Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (GREVIO) has released its first two baseline evaluation reports on Austria and Monaco. GREVIO is an independent committee that monitors implementation of the Council of Europe’s Convention on violence against women and domestic violence (Istanbul Convention) in states that have ratified the Convention.

According to GREVIO, the two country “reports contain an overall analysis of the implementation of the provisions of the Istanbul Convention. They highlight positive initiatives in preventing and combating all forms of violence against women at national level and provide suggestions and proposals to improve the situation of women facing such violence.”
