The UN has released a Dari language (spoken in Afghanistan) version of the Gender and Security Sector and Reform Toolkit, which is used to train the security sector on domestic violence and gender-based violence. The kit focuses on areas such as crime, armed conflict, corruption, and civilian harassment. Security reform that uses a gender-focused prism is necessary for creating a viable and useful security sector.
