The world meeting of women in 2010 under the motto "Women and Wisdom" will be held in Sofia from the 25th through the 29th of May. The mayor of Sofia, Mr. Boyko Borisov, will be patron of the event. This was announced by Sofia Municipality after the mayor’s meeting with a delegation of the initiative committee for the organization of the event, led by the world organizer of the meeting and a chairperson of the International Council, Linda Steelman.

For the future forum - after two years - 15 000 participants will be invited from different sectors of the society. The United Nations, organizations, countries, representatives of the culture and art, the world academic community, and individual people from different continents will take part in the event.
