UN Meeting to Boost Girls' Rights Begins

Hundreds of women and girls from around the world are gathering at the United Nations this week to discuss how to eliminate discrimination and violence against girls.  The delegates to the Commission of the Status of Women include 16-year-old Ahenliema Koijam of India, who seeks to promote the rights of girls in the Manipur provice, and 17-year-old Anisa Andresa Araujo of Brazil, who has taught children gender equality.
