Tajikistan's National Report to CEDAW to be considered January 15 - February 2, 2007

Tajikistan has submitted its national report on the status of implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women.  The report will be considered in CEDAW's 37th Session at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from January 15 to February 2, 2007.   In its national report, the government addresses each of the articles of the Convention individually, providing the ways in which the government has attempted to implement the requirements.
