The Center for Education, Counseling and Research - CESI- from Zagreb organized an important educational seminar on gender-based violence in Tuheljske Toplice, from 12 to 15 October 2006. All seminar participants were school teachers and school counselors from around Croatia, coming from the towns and cities of Pula, Slavonski Brod, Velika Gorica, Split, Rijeka, Sisak, Križevci, Požega, Zagreb, Nova Gradiška, and Karlovac.

The main goal of the seminar was to raise school teachers' basic knowledge about the problem of human trafficking in the wider context of gender-based violence and to develop educational activities on this subject, targeting both students and their parents.
