Project on Date Rape in Five Countries

The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies (MIGS) has initiated a comparative project in five countries examining “Date Rape Cases Among Young Women and the Development of Good Practices for Support and Prevention."

The project examines the occurance of date rape among girls ages 18-24 (while enrolled in higher education institutions) in Cyprus, Greece, Latvia, Malta, and Lithuania, as well as their experiences and attitudes towards dating. 

The project has now reached its second phase and has published its first set of findings.
