Moldovan Police Receive Training on Investigation Techniques to Combat Human Trafficking
Monday, January 31, 2005 12:00 PM

The OSCE Mission in Moldova is conducting a two-week training for fifteen police officers on investigation techniques to combat human trafficking. Through a simulation of a criminal investigation of a trafficking case, the officers will learn how to better preserve and use evidence against perpetrators. The officers will also learn pro-active investigation techniques, which do not rely solely on victims’ testimony. The training will also include explanations on proper victim support and treatment.
