Delay in Adoption of Bosnia and Herzegovina Laws and Amendments Hinders Prevention of Trafficking and Protection of Victims

According to an Amnesty International report published in May 2004, the delayed adoption of the new Law on Asylum and amendments to the Law on the Movement and Stay of Foreigners hinders the prevention of trafficking and protection of victims, many of which continue to be treated largely as illegal migrants.
