A 2005 report, titled "Trafficking in Human Beings in South Eastern Europe," has been released to update previous reports. The report was the product of a joint effort by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNOHCHR), the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). The report addresses current the trafficking situation in SEE, focusing on prevention methods. Both "repressive" law enforcement approaches and "empowering" human rights groups approaches, as identified by the report and the NEWW Polska Newsletter, are evaluated. Annexes to the report detail specific country situations, national plans of action, and related projects and activities in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Bulgaria, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYR Macedonia), Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, and the UN Administered Province of Kosovo.
