Amnesty International has produced a report describing the systematic rape and torture of women, children and men in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) where over twenty groups have been fighting for control over the land and its resources. The report documents that survivors of such violence lack effective access to adequate medical care and calls on the Government of the DRC and the international community to prioritize the rehabilitation of the health care system in the country.View the full report here.
